Use the court that owns the case, rather than a general county contact, for a current answer.
- Circuit or County Court docket and records: use case lookup channels or the Circuit Clerk.
- Court date or setting: use court dates information, then confirm with the clerk or administrator.
- Certified copies: ask the clerk who keeps the original record for the document and certification type.
- Chancery case: contact the Chancery Clerk, not the Circuit Clerk.
- Justice or city citation: contact the issuing Justice or municipal court.
